PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Spring into Action

Category: Sport Seasons

Suggested Grade Level: k-2

Materials: Construction paper, scissors, markers, pictures of children at play from Google

"Spring into Action" was created to remind students that the Spring season is a time to think about doing outdoor activities during recess, as well as, after school. The background is a scene of a tree, bees, a squirrel, & flowers. Attached to the flowers are pictures of children doing a variety of outdoor games (football, soccer, basketball, t-ball, etc.) and/or activities (throwing a Frisbee, jumping rope, playing tag, doing hopscotch, riding a bike, etc). Since the background contains bright colors, the children's pictures are in black & white to provide a distinct contrast & get the students' attention.
