PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Choice Day Board

Category: Motivation

Suggested Grade Level: 1-5

Materials: poster board, stickers

This board is used as a reward while students are waiting for their teacher. If the class as a whole followed all directions, was on task and did what was expected of them, then they recieve a sticker on the points board next to their classroom teachers name. Someone in the class may need a warning, or may not be doing what they are supposed to, so they get 1 strike for their class. 1 or 2 strikes is OK for the class to get but if the class gets 3 strikes, the class may not recieve a sticker on the chart. Classes can only recieve 1 sticker per class. If they recieve 7 stickers, the class is entitled to a choice day.
