PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: How far has your school walked?

Category: Running/Walking Clubs

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: USA map, di-cut letters, feet, and numbers, and string, stickers

This board was put up to inform students about their walking club. Each grade level is tracking how many miles they walked on the right. Every time each grade level completes 30 miles a die-cut foot is put up, 15 miles equals a half a foot. The whole school is tracking their miles on the map, traveling from capital to capital. Around the board are benefits for walking and how to get more steps throughout the day.

This allows you to choose if you want each grade level to compete for a prize or the whole school to get together to travel across the country.
