PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Pickle Ball

Category: Sports

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Materials: Construction paper, 1/2 of a whiffle ball, game rules and information

I have my 6th - 8th grade students play Pickle Ball every spring. The equipment and floor tape always sparks the interest of the younger kids and visiting parents. I decided to create a bulletin board that would explain what Pickle Ball is and the rules of the game.

I created a "pickle" and added legs, arms, and a paddle out of construction paper. The title "Pickle Ball" was cut using my Cricut machine. I included information about the history, serve, faults, double bounce rule, and scoring used in Pickle Ball. A diagram of the court was also added.
