PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Got Milk?

Category: Nutrition

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Bulletin board paper, Ellison letters, border, camera, printer and paper for pictures, glass of milk, ice cream sandwiches, construction paper, chalk, and poster to advertise milk (optional).

This bulletin board was designed to encourage students to drink milk. Pictures were taken of many of the teachers at our school with a milk mustache (created using the ice cream inside ice cream sandwiches). The teachers also held the glass of milk while getting their picture taken. The students were very excited to see their teachers with a milk mustache. White chalk was used to draw bubbles in empty spaces on the board.
