Variations:
You don't have to have a team, just incorporate rhythms into PTO shows, parent/student nights, etc.
Teaching Suggestions/Tips:
Look in PE books/magazines for routines. E-mail me for any help I might be able to give you to get started.
Go to PE conferences to get new ideas and new routines
Adaptations for Students with Disabilities:
Students with disabilities love to be included in school activities, just as we all do! Adaptations: Don't worry if they can't perform the exact routine like the others, they will be happy knowing they are a part of the team!
1.) Make them a pole holder if they can't jump.
2.) Add "simple" dance steps to be performed along side of the "main" activity.
3.) Give them a partner to work with.
