Cardiograph is an application which measures your heart rate. Normally used during a fitness unit or warm up. You can save your results, keep track of multiple people, add notes, and print your results. This app uses your device's built-in camera to take pictures of your fingertip and calculate your heart rate.
How App is used in classroom/gym:
Students can use cardiograph to keep track of their heart rate during an activity. This is good to use during stations when working on a fitness unit. Students will come to a station where they can use the iPad to find their active heart rate and see if they are in their target heart rate. The students will place their fingertip on the camera opening on the iPad. The app will record their heart rate or the teacher may write down the heart rate on a chart to keep for future use.

If you don't have a flash in your camera make sure you're in a well lit area for the camera to work.
