Reduce Cancer Risk--Dietary Guidelines


Maintain desirable weight.

Eat a varied diet.

Include a variety of fruits and vegtables in your daily diet.

Include cruciferous vegtables in your diet. These include cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts, kohlrabi, and cauliflower.

Eat more high-fiber foods such as whole wheat cereals, pasta, and bread.

Reduce total fat intake.

Avoid drinking alcohol. However, if you drink alcohol, do so in moderation.
