Take a pain reliever.
Put an ice pack on the painful area for 20 minutes every hour yourâre awake for the first day or so. Appy heat after that.
Take short, slow walks if you can.
Swim if you can.
Sleep with a pillow under or between your knees.
Get a relaxing massage.
See a doctor if your pain is severe or doesnât improve in four days.
