Controlling Your Anger

* Put yourself in the other personâs place. Try to see their pointÊof view.

* Recognize the humor in a situation, but make sure the laughâs on you, not the other person.

* Keep the volume down - if you speak quietly and calmly, the other person is likely to do the same.

* Practice relaxation techniques. In stressfull situations try to think of something pleasant.

* Walk away! If you are unable to get your emotions under control, tell the other person you will speak with them when you are calmed down.
