Make sure you wear protective equipment (i.e.,Êhelmet, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards).
Be sure your skates are in good working order.
Rotate your wheels so that your skates will roll better.
Skate on smooth surfaces free of stones, branches, leaves, etc.
Donât skate beyond your ability (i.e, don't try tricks/stunts that you aren't ready to perform).
Warm up muscles prior to skating.
