Being Safe While Riding A Bike

*Wear a helmet. This can reduce your risk of injury by 85%.

*Only ride a bike that is in good working condition.

*Wear reflective clothing if riding in the evening. Don't ride your bike in the dark.

*If riding in town around vehicles, remember motorist's blind spots. Ride ahead or stay behind cars and trucks a good distance so they can see you in their mirrors.

*Ride with the flow of traffic and never weave in between cars.
