Seat Belt Safety for the Car

*Always wear seat belts no matter how short the trip you are taking is.

*Back seat passengers should always wear seat belts as well.

*Adjust the belt if it isn't comfortable. Lap belt should fit low and snug over the hips, not your stomach. Shoulder belt should bo across your chest, not under your arm.

*Wait until the car is stopped to take off your seat belt.

*Ask others in the car to wear their seat belts.
