Place the person in a horizontal position with the head below the level of
the heart and the legs raised.
Turn the person's head to the side so the tongue dosen't cover the airway.
Loosen tight clothing and apply cool, moist towels to the face and neck.
Do not slap or shake the person.
Do not try to give the person anything to drink--not even water.
Do not allow the person arise until the sense of physical
weakness passes.
