Improve Your Childs Diet

*Switch to fat-free and low-fat milk, cheese, salad dressing, creamÊ and cheese.

*Order lower-fat choices at fast-food restaurants.

*Serve smaller meat portions and larger grain, vegetable and pasta portions at dinner.

*Provide healthful snacks such as orange wedges, fresh-fruit shakes, carrot sticks, microwave popcorn, grapes.

*Serve them a healthful breakfast.Ê Any cold cereal with nonfat milk that is low in sugar is best.
