Doing to much too soon when starting an exercise program. Don't try to get in shape in one day or week!
Stretching cold muscles before exercising. Warm your muscles prior to stretching by jogging.
Using improper form while exercising. Using improper form, exercise can be ineffective, even harmful.
Wearing improper footwear. The right kind of athletic footwear is your best investment against knee, ankle and foot injuries.
Holding your breath while exercising. Not breathing correctly can increase blood pressure and may even decrease blood flow to the brain, which can cause dizziness or fainting.
