Improving Your Self Esteem

* Look in the mirror daily and say something positive to yourself

* Realize that you are unique and original and be happy because you are you

* Avoid getting upset with others who insult you because these people are probably insecure themselves

* Get involved in sports and activities in your school, town, or community

* Perform volunteer work a few times a month

* Accept compliments from others

* Avoid comparing yourself to others
