BEGINNING AN EXERCISE PROGRAM


  • Consult an exercise expert prior to starting an exercise program

  • Start slow and easy (don't do too much too soon)

  • Keep track of your progress by writing down what you do in a chart or log

  • Find a friend to be active with

  • Set new exercise goals if you get bored with your exercise routine

  • Choose activities that you enjoy doing. (i.e., swimming, riding bikes)
