Write a daily to-do list prioritizing tasks that need to be completed

Concentrate on unpleasant, must-do tasks FIRST!

Turn a dreaded task into a game

Divide major projects or tasks into small parts and concentrate on completing the parts

Handle paperwork quickly (i.e., choose to file, complete, or throw away)
