Homemade Equipment Ideas

Equipment Name: Plastic/Trash Bag Streamers

Materials Needed: Several large/medium/small trash bags, depending on how many streamers you wish to make.

Estimated Cost: $.50

Rationale: Quick, easy alternative to purchased streamers or ribbons.

Directions For Making:

Take a trash bag, still folded, and cut it into approximately 1 1/2 inch widths, cutting through the full thickness of the folds. Make one cut through one thickness to open the streamer.

Grasp the streamer in the middle, and feel free to use either one or one streamer in each hand.

The black color of most trash bags works particularly well during the Halloween season.
