q Welcome speech and introduction by Ms. Maria – re theme for PEACE around the world, re UNESCO priority strategym multicultural emphasis , environment bla bla, Why called it PE-ACE, different meanings re show case of what has been going on in the Early School PE program. Then “we welcome the children of Grade 4 (2 classes) – who will start us off in this special cultural festival of PE, Art and Music. Ms. Maria, introduces the first display	Set up Display Equipment into postion Display kids get into position and Ms. Kath distributes Pompoms
Ms. Maria introduces –Display 1 - G4K + G4Rob “ All around the world” – IMAGINATION PARADE TRACK 1	In the meantime the Marchpast stop behind the hole.
	After display Flame of Peace group of kids after display jog up by the “hole” corner- John Cascun holds torch and others line up near him(Francesca, Zac, Francesca, Deborah) and Peom/Oath readers – Andrea, Francesca F., Andrew Cacciatolo, Daniel BC, Yolande take their place near Ms. Maria at the Podium
q Ms. Maria – “What a beautiful display” bla bla, and introduces welcomes the “flame of peace” into the stadium. q FLAME OF PEACE – On signal the kids run from hole, through “display area” to Podium near Ms. Maria. “Song for Guy” –Munich Symphony Orchestera track 2 – first 26 seconds only.	Ms. Maria , explains significance of “FLAME OF PEACE – symbol of excellence, purity and strenght..

q Ms. Maria :– Announces the unveiling of the Banner – painted by MS teacher Ms. Pat – and as the banner is unrolled Munich Symphony Orchestera track 1 – “ We Are the World” – fade out when Banner is fully open.	AND AS IT STARTS THE LARGE BANNER IS UNVEILED. MUSIC :
q Ms. Maria -Introduces the March Past MARCH PAST G4,3,2,1 . For the March past the children walk down waving the flags they make, and the teacher + 2 parents hold the banner and children march behind it in frontal line formation- 2 rows with Blues+ Yellows, and second row with Reds and Greens. After turning at “OPEN FAN POINT” , children in SINGLE LINE FORMATION pass in front of the Stage, Banners are dropped into BOXES NEAR Ms Maria’s Podium and the CHILDREN GIVE FLAGS TO Ms. Dolly, Ms. Kay and Ms. Pace WHO SETS THEM UP ON THE STAGE –throught the Kebab Sticks. q CHILDREN AND TEACHER move to stations and WAIT FOR THE FIRST GONG “MOVE YOUR BODY” like last year	MUSIC –LA VIDA MICKEY CD Track 4 – Disney Mambo Track 1 – Livin La Vida Mickey Track 6 : Conga Track 8 : Enrique Ricky Mickey Etc etc

Ms. Maria introduces “Peacelympics field day stations” – G1 and 2 in car-park and Early School play ground, that G3 and 4 in Middle school reminds parents re KEEP BEHIND THE BARRIERS for the smooth running of the events ; invites them to stalls, cafferteria, see PE Photos on display, posters around the school + PARENTS EVENTS going on and SIBBLING EVENTS going on currently. That after all rotations, all parents are to return to the Car Park.

CUTTING OF THE RIBBON TO SET OF THE STATIONS Ms. Maria then Moves to “entrance of Early School’ CUTS the Ribbon Together with GUEST . (I take the scissors on a SILVER TRAY) - this is the FIRST ROUND and FIRST GONG MUSIC - "teachers it is now SYCHRNONISE WATCHES. STATIONS TO BE ROTATED EVERY 8 minutes.	IMPORTANT TO OPEN GATE leading to Middle School interconnecting yard (behind office of Jackie)
q FIRST GONG STARTS and teachers start the station. Activity is performed – after 6 minutes into the station, teachers start rounding up the kids, stamp their passports so that on the next GONG they are ready to move. On Gong “Move your body” teachers and kids move to their next station.	N NOTE FOR JON VELLA Every 8 min – “- GONG MUSIC ” music for couple of seconds and Ms. Kay/PAT say which Round we are in. There are 8 rounds. NOTE THAT at end of 2, 4, 6^th rounds (ie the 3,5,7^th GONGS) MUST BE LONGER (9 minutes) TO ALLOW GRADES TIME TO SWOP !! 1/2 and 3/4. -8-9-9-8-8-9-8-8
At the end of all the rounds, all the classes must return to car park. Grades 1 and 2 round up in the car park and will be given time to go to their location to make their circle formations – get ready to start dancing “ I like Friends”, “5 little Monkeys” in circular formation at designated points. Once G1 and G2 have completed these dances, they move into their lines as designated. TONY CHESTNUT CD : “I Like Friends : track 7 “5 little Monkeys” track 2	· CLEAR ALL EQUIP FROM CAR PARK · Ms. Maria, invites parents to round up in car park –those who would be in areas other than the car park (near staff car park ), and in the meantime the whilst the Grades 3 and 4 start making their way over through the Senior School road (parents/older children to move to car park from the Soccer pitch, cafeteria in Grade 1 playground, Basketball etc via Middle School playround route) Godwin note : to clear pathway to allow children to pass from Senior school road into the car park – FREDU TO OPEN THE GATES LEADING FROM SOCCER PITCH –SENIOR SCHOOL- CAR PARK to clear areas · In meantime, Dolly digs out Medals and PEACE flags from under the stage and distributed them to the class teachers. (HAVE SPARE MEDALS & FLAGS stored under stage too). HAND PRINT BANNERS NEED TO BE TAKEN TO PAT SCERRI – FOR HANGING FROM ROOF ALONGSIDE THE LARGE BANNER
Grades3 + 4 – TONY CHESTNUT followed by the	When the Grades 4 arrive the Grades 3 and 4 dance to “Tony Chestnut”. In the meantime the class teachers G1 &2 , start collecting bibs, giving out the medals and PEACE flags to the children . When Tony chestnut is finished 3, and the Grade 4Kath a& Roberta remove bibs, give out medals and flag.. LINE UP AT DESIGNATED ZONES around the stage . Helium Balloons will be brought over and given to the class teacher.
Grade4 Ros+Tanya Parachute Display and move down to their designated area. “IT’S A SMALL WORLD” – Cassette Tape – Children of the world Side B	Collect bib and distribute medals and peace flags to Gr4 Tanya, and Rosienne
· Ms. Maria : TROPHIES – houses and team spirit trophy – calls out only house leaders of all grade 4s – and then send them back to the line. FINAL ACTIVITY : UNROLLING OF THE HANDPRINT BANNERS AND THE RELEASE OF THE HELIUM FILLED BALLOONS – At Ms. Maria’s signal - SETTING FREE OF MESSAGE OF PEACE INTO THE AIR and children wave their flags into the air – MUSIC : “going to fly now” track 17 from GREAT MOVIE HITS	In MEANTIME DINNING TABLES NEED TO BE SET UP IN THE CAR PARK HAND PRINT BANNERS ARE LOWERED FROM THE ROOF TOO
Concluding thank you AND PARENTS INVITED TO COLLECT THEIR KIDS GRADE BY GRADE THROUGH DESIGNATED AREAS at the FRONT of the CAR PARK AREA (on the side when you exit when you drive out of school) Ms. Maria, has to remind parents that from now on the children are the parents’ responsibility, introduces Mr. Patrick Vella as entertainment host and party starts. HE INVITES Ms. Maria and ALL TEACHERS to round up around the stage to dig their teeth into the 12foot sub ! Patrick reminds parents re stalls, DINER area open now fully etc.	This leaved time for Field crew to set up diner area properly.
