North Dakota

Activity: North Wind, South Wind

Equipment: 2 blue pinneys, 1 yellow pinney, 2 small nerf balls

Formation: scattered

The North winds represent cold and danger and attempt to tag as many players as possible. Hold a ball and the ball actually tags the person. Do not throw the ball. The tagged player must get down on all fours and become stiff and motionless. The South wind player tries to "free" as many players as possible by touching them and saying "free". As soon as a player is touched he/she is back in the game. Play for 2 minutes and then change the North winds and South wind.
