Baseball Cues

PE Central

Bunting

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Grip the bottom of the bat normal and pinch the back of the barrel of the bat. (Keep your fingers behind the bat.)

Square your hips so your upper body is facing the pitcher.

Don't drop the barrel of the bat. Bend your knees to bunt a ball that is low.

Cushion or "Catch" the ball with your bat.

Bunt the TOP of the baseball so it goes onto the ground and not into the air.
