Salamander Crawl (Scooter Board)

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Lay on the scooter board on your stomach.

As you push your body with your left arm you should bend your left knee and push with that leg at the same time.

As you push your body with your right arm you should bend your right knee and push with that leg at the same time.

Make sure you keep your arms far enough to the outside so you don't run your fingers over.

Keep your head up and watch where you are going.

Students will look like "salamanders" as they move across the floor on the scooter.
