Rugby drop kick

Suggested Grade Level: 9-12

Start with legs together at a 45 degree angle to your target.

Hold the rugby ball perpindicular to the ground, fingers down, thumbs up.

Step forward with your non-kicking foot and at the same time bring your kicking foot back to wind up for the kick.

Eyes down, drop ball to the ground evenly with both hands and begin the follow through with your kicking leg at the same time.

Eyes down, watch the ball, leg follows through straight to the target.

Ball must hit ground before contact with your foot.
