Ice Skating Backward/Backward Swizzles

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

To start the backwards swizzle, make a pizza slice shape with your feet(heels together)

Bring the legs forwards making a 'C' shape/cut in the ice in order to propel yourself backward.

Keep knees over toes at all times in order to maintain balance.

The pressure applied when propelling yourself should be felt from toe to heel (Start pushing with toes and end with heel)
