Frisbees Cues

PE Central

Frisbee Pivot

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Grip frisbee in a forehand grip (see submitted cues for this throw).

Right handed throwers should have left foot slightly forward. Left hand throwers should be opposite.

Fake forehand throw, quickly slide or move right foot in front of body, while changing to a backhand grip. (Opposite for left hand throwers).

If there is no open passing lane, reverse the action to original position and regrip in a forehand grip.

Can also fake a forehand and throw a hammer (overhead) pass (see submitted cues for this throw).

Teach all three throws and the rules of Ultimate Frisbee before teaching this skill.
