Basic Defensive Technique - Basketball

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Feet in athletic position (shoulder width apart)

Arms spread out wide and hands up with palms facing the offensive player (make your self BIG)

Keep your back straight.

Knees bent.

Use the locomotor skill of 'sliding' to move around.
