Striking w/ Rackets/Paddles Cues

Tennis Serve (Beginner Grip)

Suggested Grade Level: All

Feet shoulder width apart (Right handed player)

Toes pointing at the right net post (45 degree angle)

Elbow up and racket touching your back (pretend you are scratching your back)

Tossing arm straight and in front of your body

Toss ball up and slightly in front (younger kids you can tell them to toss it on top of their head)

Reach up high with racket and HIGH FIVE the ball (also tell them to make sure the STRINGS look at the target when they make contact with the ball)
