Name of Activity: How Far To Mount Katahdin (Part IV)

Purpose of Activity: To stimulate interest in the Appalachian Trail which hopefully propells students to gaining an interest in hiking and backpacking.

Suggested Grade Level: 9-12

Materials Needed: Access to a computer that is hooked up to the Internet, the worksheet provided below

Description of Idea

Part Four of our trip to Mount Katadhin finds us visiting various Web sites on the Internet.
