Suggested Grade Level: 4-6

Description of Idea

This is a pre/post assessment. Pre gives the teacher their student’s insights on how they perceived their prior juggling skills, knowledge/attitudes and what they hoped to accomplish to help teacher implement strategies to help student development of skill. Post to give teacher their students' insights on how they perceived their post juggling skills/knowledge and what they had accomplished by the end of the juggling unit to be used in future lessons.

The assessment was designed to incorporate multiple learning styles. For the interpersonal and understanding learner, there are juggling questions regarding attitudes, prior knowledge, and reflective questions to examine what they benefited from juggling. For the self-expressive learners there is section on the post assessment that allows for a creative drawing interpretation of them juggling.

This assessment in Excel has two tabs at the bottom of the sheet one is for pre and one if for the post test. Pre/post are front and back of 1 paper. Pre/post self evaluation skill check list is on page one. Students fill out pre prior to lessons and fills in post at the end of the "unit".
