Computer lab to blog (if choose to use this part of lesson) Description of Idea Students will be creating a role play scenario as well as a public service announcement and blog answers to specific questions regarding their scenarios. This meets 7 GLE's, two content standards and sixteen process standards for the state of Missouri. Assessment Ideas: Rubric/Scoring guide for both the role play and the public service announcement. Teaching Suggestions: Caution the students about the seriousness of this subject numerous times during the lesson. I would also make sure the class understands the concequences for mocking or making fun of others during this lesson, which could have a profound impact on those who are currently victims of bulling. Adaptations for Students with Disabilities: Role playing scenario modifications could include prompts given by the teacher cueing students to respond to the prompt in an appropriate manner. |
