Name of Activity: Volleying against the wall

Purpose of Activity: To ensure that students understand steps in volleying to target before moving on to next lesson.

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Description of Idea

The following assessment would be great to use as an exit assessment at the end of a class.

Students will answer True or False. If the statement is false they will need to correct the statement to make it true.

TRUE FALSE 1. When volleying the ball you should make a tight fist with which to hit the ball?


TRUE FALSE 2. When volleying the ball you should extend your legs, body, and striking arm toward the target?


TRUE FALSE 3. Once you strike the ball you should stand still until the ball returns back to you?


List any problems you have or any are you may need extra practice in. If you feel you do not need any extra practice or help write "none".
