Name of Activity:

Moving to Open Space in Basketball Assessment

Purpose of Activity:

To observe a peer during a basketball lead up activity and help provide the peers with feedback about their movements during play.

Suggested Grade Level:

4-5

Description of Idea

One student will be playing in a basketball lead-up activity for about 3 minutes or so. When their partner observes their play they check the number of times their partner moves to an open space in a box. When switching, the students completes a sheet for their partner. After a few rotation through the students provide addition written feedback about what they observed.
