Description of Idea

This dance is a great couples dance, that can also be danced as a mixer. It is a fun dance to do to all types of music - 60's, 70's, rock, country, etc.

First 16 Counts:

Two (2) Hip Bumps to the inside (bump partner), 2 Hip Bumps to outside (away from partner) (Cts 1-4)

1 Hip Bump to inside (bump partner), 1 Hip Bump away from partner (Cts 5-6)

Step Forward and Pivot 180 degrees to back(Gentleman Forward on Right, Turn Left; Lady Forward on L, turn R -NOTE: this makes both turn towards the outside) (Cts 7-8)

Step Forward and Pivot 180 degrees again back to front (Gentleman Forward on Right Turn Left--Lady Forward on L turn R - NOTE: both are turning inward now) (Cts 9-10)

3 Shuffle Steps (Gentleman starting with Right--Lady starting with Left) (Cts 11-16)

Next 12 Counts:

Grapevine step facing partner, end on Ct 4 side by side facing LOD (Gentleman with Left--step behind with Right--1/4 turn Left with Left--Stomp with Right)(Lady with Right--Step Behind with Left--1/4 turn Right with Right--Stomp with Left) (Cts 1-4)

Step back three steps (reverse LOD) and stomps on Ct 4 (Guy steps R,L,R, and stomps with L, weight on R; Girl steps L,R,L, and stomps with R, weight on R) (Cts 5-8)

Boot Kiss - Hook outside foot in front and touch sole of partner's boot, Foot back to Center; Hook outside foot in back and touch sole of partner's boot, Foot back to center (Cts 9-12)

Begin entire dance again.

Variations:

To make this dance a mixer (change partners), beginning with the last Cts 5-8 with the three step backs. Instead of the girl stepping back like the guy, the girl steps three steps forward while the guy steps three steps back; by the stomp, everyone is beside of a new partner, and then performs the "Boot Kiss" with the new partner.
