Job Description & Information:
The Dept. of Health and Physical Education is seeking a full-time person to teach in the HPE majors program. The ideal candidate should have excellent technology skills and be experienced and well-versed with NCATE and the teacher certification process and able to teach the following courses: School Health, Adapted Physical Education, Methods in Teaching Physical Education K-12 as well as general activity classes. Successful teaching experience in the public schools is necessary. Other assignments include supervision of teacher interns, student advising and thesis advising, as well as other tasks assigned by the chair.
