Title of Bulletin Board: A+ for Nutrition

Category: Nutrition

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Nutrition posters, food pyramid cut outs and written student work

Description:

Students in grade 2 learned all about nutrition and how important a healthy and fit lifestyle is for your whole body. Students viewed and were taught about the colorful posters about nutrition and also learned about the food pyramid. Students were then asked to write a short story about why a healthy diet and active lifestyle is important to their health. Students wrote it on sheets that had parts of the body as a border and were allowed to color the border in after they were finished.
