Description:

This bulletin board was made to introduce the students to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Each week we introduce a mascot and we talk about the mascot and then we place it on the bulletin board. We compared with the 08 Olympics that there were 5 mascots. We talk about the different events and compare them to what we do in physical education. The students figured out that curling was almost like bocce ball. We mentioned about the canadian tree being the maple tree and how that tree is on their flag. The olympic rings are on top of the bulletin board and we talk about their colors.
