Bulletin Board Ideas for Physical Education

     

Title of Bulletin Board: Even Turkeys Love PE II

Materials: Bulletin board paper, construction paper and fall leaves

Description:

I covered the board with green bulletin board paper. I took several large pieces of brown bulletin board paper and crinkled it up and stapled it to the board in a cicular shape to get the turkey body. I used a smaller piece to make the head. Yellow and red bulletin board paper were also used to make the feet and the wattle.

Construction paper was used to make the footballs, basketballs, tennis balls, eyes and beak. A black marker was used to make the various lines on all the balls. I also bent the tips of the footballs to look more like feathers. Soccer balls were printed on white card stock. I stapled all these on to the turkey to look like the feathers.

Silk leaves were stapled to the edges of the board to give more color. Tip: when using silk type leaves...pull the platic form part off the back. This way the leaves are easy to staple and shape.

Last, I used orange letters that I cut with a die cut machine.
