Title of Bulletin Board: Caught showing good character

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Picture of fishing pole, Blank pictures of fish

Description:

The "Caught showing good character" bulletin board was created during our character ed. unit. If a student is caught showing one of the charcater traits learned and discussed in class, they will receive a fish to write down their name, grade, and which trait was shown. The traits we discussed are respect, caring, citizenship, responsibility,trustworthiness and sharing. The students can be "caught" at anytime showing these traits to be rewarded a fish. The bulletin board is displayed in the hallway for the whole school and visitors to see!

Additional Information:

Many teachers have joined in for the catching of good character and the students now identify what trait they have used!
