Description:

While student teaching, the school did a healthy heart day where everyone in the school was involved. This was done on the half day of school before Thanksgiving. I found facts and printed them on top of hearts using Microsoft Word and put them around the 2 main pictures. I talked about the difference between veins and arteries and corresponded them with the same color construction paper. I put this up right at the beginning of the month and we talked about the heart in every class.
