Description:

‘Put your best foot forward’ reinforces my physical education behavior plan that is used to establish a positive learning environment.

SPORT:
S= Play hard, play safe, play smart.
P= Take care and share PE property.
O= Play orderly to have a safe learning environment.
R= Respect your classmates and teachers by using good manners
T= Stay on task to be skillful learners.

The sneakers were made by 5th grade students and are a constant reminder that safe shoes are necessary for PE days. This board is posted in the hallway near the gym. This also reinforces my classroom discipline plan for parents and visitors at our school.

Additional Information:

Laminating the items is optional. I find that it prolongs the life of the materials.
