Title of Bulletin Board: Go For the Gold

Materials: White Butcher Paper, Yellow Boarder, Construction Paper (Blue, Yellow, Black, Green, & Red), Gold Copy Paper

Description:

I made this bulletin board for the beginning of the school year right after the 2008 Summer Olympics. It's purpose was to develop a sense of teamwork and cooperation among each class. Written on each "Gold Medal" is TEAM (Teacher's Last Name). When a class comes to the gym for PE class, I always greet them by saying, "Good Morning Team (Teacher's Last Name)!". This bulletin board helped reinforce the team concept that I wanted them to develop early in the school year by showing them that together they were all on the same team and needed to work together to succeed and have fun in PE class.
