Title of Bulletin Board: Did You Get 60 Today?

Materials: Colored papers, Cut-out letters/numbers, file folders, glue/staples

Description:

Our bulletin board is typically full of graphics and details, so the simplicity and interactivity of this board made it especially attractive. Bright colors drew students in to flip the "What, Why, How" up to read the explanations underneath. What: People our age need 60 minutes of physical activity each day. Why: To feel better, look better, and be able to enjoy each minute of life. How: We filled this page with activities ranging from chasing butterflies and juggling to hiking and swimming. The left-hand third of the board is used for upcoming events, with constantly-changing details. Board idea inspired by NJ's Marty Siegel.
