Title of Bulletin Board: "Being fit is easy!" Category: Fitness Suggested Grade Level: 3-5 Materials: Letters, bordering, clip art graphics.
Description:
Playing off the letter "E" in the word easy, I came up with 3 basic words that began with the letter "E" that are components of fitness. For each phrase (Eat healthy foods, Exercise regularly, and Enjoy a full night sleep) I enlarged a clip art picture that related to the component of fitness. Little clip art graphics were randomly placed around the board that also had something to do with fitness.
Additional Information:
I also had the students respond to what their favorite exercise was, their favorite healthy food to eat was, and what helped them get to sleep. This was displayed next to the board down the length of the hallway.
