Materials: butcher paper for background, ellison machine for letters, string, ribbon, kite template, white paper for clouds, markers, white-out, construction paper

Description:

Put this board up in the beginning of spring when the wind is still blowing to get the kids thinking about going outside and flying a kite. I made my kites look like different pieces of physical education equipment (soccer, football, tennis, basketball, bowling, volleyball, baseball, etc.). Tie string to each kite and add ribbon for the tail. I used blue paper as the background to resemble the sky. Add clouds (I ripped mine).

Additional Information:

I used orange paper for the basketball kite. Light green paper for the tennis ball kite plus I used white-out to make the lines. Black paper for the bowling kite plus white-out for the finger holes. Brown paper and white-out for the football.
