Title of Bulletin Board: Presidential Turkey Trainers

Description:

I wanted to focus on Presidential Physical Fitness Testing and it was around Thanksgiving time. I took a turkey picture and copied him on an overhead. Then I traced him on construction paper and manipulated him into different positions that matched each of the fitness tests. Curl-ups, Shuttle Run, V-sit reach, Push-ups, and the one mile run. I put a label near each turkey so the students know what they are doing. I encorporated it in class by the students earning "Turkey Points" when they worked on each test. The kids loved to earn turkey points in class.
