Materials: Cut out sneakers, back ground paper, spreadsheet program, ellison machine for letters

Description:

This bulletin board is a motivational board for our students who participate in Running Club. Each week the Running Club parents update the board with how many miles the students have traveled in our weekly club. They also use the sneaker cutouts to have a "race" between the grade levels. In this picture the first grade has won the race (this is the last bulletin board of the fall season). The parents have also placed on the board for the students to see; how many miles each class has completed, how many miles each student has run, grade level totals, etc. The students are very excited to check this board out!

Additional Information:

All my parents in Running Club are the driving force behind this board! They do all the behind the scene work (spreadsheets, totaling up miles, etc) so I can place it on the board. They only wanted to be recognized as the Running Club parents.
