Description:

Our school theme this year is, "Under Construction". Therefore, the Physical Education version of the theme is, "Bodies Under Construction". I bought the poster, "You Are What You Eat" from a PE magazine. This poster has both an unhealthy / healthy side on it. The unhealthy side is made up of cookies, candy, chips, donuts, etc (junk food), creating a wider child. The healthy side is made up of grains, fruits and vegetables, creating a slender child. This poster gives our students a wonderful visual.

Additional Information:

At the end of each class period, you will always see a group of students looking at the poster. Many students come to class the next day saying, "Yesterday, I had carrots for a snack instead of cookies". They are so proud of themselves, with a huge smile on their face!
