Description:

This Bulletin Board is done on a green chalkboard. The chalk tray is covered with orange and green pool noodles to provide a safety cushion. Above the board are different sports graphics painted on the wall and below the board is part of a number line.

The worksheet / poster asks the students to choose 3 foods for the most healthful Breakfast, Lunch, Snack , and Dinner. I use this board to introduce food groups and how to put together Healthy Meals.

This board always sparks conversation about what the students have eaten. They even catch me in the hallway and tell me about their recent food choices. They really get excited about trying to eat healthy. Parents have even told me the kids bring it up at home.
